Arrival: Delhi

Meeting, assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.

Delhi / Sawai Madopur 

Morning to relax and get over jet lag. Early afternoon transfer to railway station to connect train for Sawai Madopur (Ranthambore).

AM & PM canter ride into the jungle to see the wild animals in India.

RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK – One of the most exciting Parks with Tiger sightings at its best, a photographers dreams come true, dotted with lakes and ponds around which wildlife abounds, predators and prey enact their day to day dramas.  The 410 sq. Kms. Park is covered with Dhok, Ronj, Salai, Ber and Palm Trees. Belts of dry deciduous forests with ancient Banyans and Pipals, suddenly open into large areas of grassy meadows. The three major lakes, Rajbaugh, Milak Talao and Padam Talao are covered with giant lotuses which attract Sambars. The grassy edges are frequented by Chital, Wild Boars and other ungulates. The marsh Crocodiles bask on the shores, the Tigers are often on the prowl at the peripheries.  The variety is vast and birds have special say, screeching parakeets, whistling magpies, and Dancing Peacocks abound in the park

Ranthambore / Bharatpur

Morning safari into jungle. Later in the day drive to Bharatpur. On arrival check-in hotel.

PM: Bharatpur Bird sanctuary: Ghana keoldeo sanctuary- (14 sq.kms in area) home of very large variety of water-birds; 328 species being identified; sarus crane white ibis, open bill stork, painted stork, Indian darter, grey heron & migrants such as ducks, geese & Siberian cranes & the local Indian birds can be seen here.  The month of Sep and Oct. are breeding time and the nests on the trees in the lake and along the tracks are full of winged creatures.

Bharatpur / Agra / Jabalpur – overnight train

Am: morning sunrise rickshaw ride into Bharatpur.. Later in the day drive to Agra for connecting train for Jabalpur. If you want, you can visit Taj Mahal by paying entrance fee directly.

Meet on arrival and Drive Jabalpur/Kanha  (150 KM/4 HRS).

PM: Wildlife India tour contibues with a visit by jeep to Kanha National Park.

Kanha National Park one of the best places in India for viewing wildlife, kanha is famous for swamp deer, bison, barking deer, sloth bear, etc.  This park specially known for Tiger and Chital.  Other animals to be seen are leopard, hyena, gaur, black buck and pig. The bird life includes black ibises, vulture. Kanha is now a tiger reserve under “Project Tiger”.

Kanha / Bandhavgarh 

After breakfast leisurely drive Kanha/Bandhavgarh (250 KMS, 6 HRS) On arrival check-in at hotel.

Evening enjoy the wild life film show and talk on jungle areas.

Bandhavgarh National Park one of the best places in India for viewing Wildlife, it is famous for Swamp Deer, Bison, Barking Deer, Sloth Bear, etc.  This park is specially known for Tiger and Chital.  Other animals to be seen are Leopard, Hyena, Gaur, Black Buck and Pig. The bird life includes Black Ibises, Vulture.  It is now a Tiger Reserve under “Project Tiger”.

Drive Bandhavgarh/ Khajuraho (250 kms/5 hrs) and transfer to airport to connect flight for Varanasi.

PM: Excursion to sarnath.

Sarnath  10 kms. North of Varanasi is sarnath, where in the “deer park, gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon after he became the “enlightened one”. The ruins of monasteries, built more than 2000 years ago, the dhamek stupa and the main shrine draw Buddhists pilgrimage to sarnath. Here stands the famous ashoka pillar of polished sandstone whose lion capital has been adopted as India’s state emblem. The museum (closed on Friday) contains many superb specimens of ancient art.

Varanasi / Kathmandu

Early morning boat cruise on river ganges.

Ganges boat tour- “soul of the holy city”, drive through the city to the sacred river & then cruise by boat on ganges visiting dasaswamedh bathing ghat manikarna cremation ghat, panch ganga ghat, munshi ghat and return to dasaswamedh ghat.                       

Return to hotel for breakfast… Transfer to airport.

Kathmandu / Chitwan

After breakfast drive to Chitwan (185 kms/4 hrs 30 min). Rafting at River Trishuli from Fuhistling to Mungling for 2/3 hrs. Lunch & Continue drive to chitwan and check in at hotel.

Early morning & afternoon jungle activities with Elephant ride.

Chitwan National Park situated in southern Nepal.  The park supports a rich variety of wildlife of which most famous are the Royal Bengal tiger and the great Indian one-horned Rhinoceros.  Other large animals include Leopards, Jungle Cats, Sloth Bears, Sambar, Crocodiles & Large species of birds.  The park is a sub-topical jungle of which 70% is sal-tree forest; the remaining area is Riverine Forest, Grasslands, Water Holes sandy banks and flood plains.               

Breakfast / lunch / dinner at resort.

Chitwan / Kathmandu / Delhi

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu (185 kms/4 hrs 30 min) and transfer to airport.

NAGARHOLE wildlife PARK situated on the southern fringes of nagarhole, amidst tranquil green and the kabini river. The forest is home for occasional tiger sighting, elephant, gaur, chital hundred species of birds.

Later in the evening enjoy Audio-Visual on Wildlife.
